The Case of the Deadly Detective: Chapter 4 Miranda Kramer lived three houses down from the quiet residence of Detective Derrick Pritchett. On that fateful Tuesday morning she opened her blinds to let the bright July sunshine stream through her windows as she absorbed each and every last ray. But as she opened the window to her kitchen that faced the outermost wall of the house next door, she felt uneasy. "Something's wrong." She thought and went to knock on the detective's door. However, it was already open. Miranda walked inside the still quiet home.

The Case of the Deadly Detective: Chapter 3 The lumpy black garbage bag fell slowly; it seemed, into the churning white waters of the bay below. Detective Derrick Pritchett watched it as it dropped with a deafening splash into the darkness then ran with a speed greater than his racing heartbeat to his parked car sitting calmly in the parking lot. He should have felt liberated by the release of the deadly evidence that was his blood tainted clothes but Derrick was in distress.
"I can't believe there's a witness." He thought as he sped off toward home again.
"What does he know? What did he see? What did he hear? When did he tell the authorities?"

The Case of the Deadly Detective: Chapter 2 Click. The lock on Detective Pritchett's house door closed with a small snap. He strutted past pictures of family and friends tacked on the wall with perfect order and regarded them without deference.
It didn't matter now, he thought, family isn't important. I need to do what I need to do. First things first, he thought, I need to clean up the evidence.
With that, he climbed the stairs and the ladder up to the attic. This was where he had stored the bloodied clothes and DNA filled evidence. The Case of the Deadly Detective: Chapter 1 Just before dawn on a bright summer morning, Detective Derrick Pritchett awoke feeling revitalized and ready to begin another day. He showered, dressed, and went downstairs for breakfast. As Derrick opened the refrigerator to take out a banana, he heard his phone ring. It was the office.
"We need you at 438 Mirror Court ASAP." His supervisor said and hung up before the detective even had time to respond.
So, with a sigh, Derrick grabbed his notebook and cell phone, opened the door, and ventured out into the oppressive heat of the sunny June morning.

Mood: Euphoric
Listening to: The sound of keys clicking and pencils scraping
Reading: Blindness by Jose Saramago
Watching: People take finals or play games...

WOOHOO!!!!! Finally done with every single final exam including the horrendously long, writing intensive career final. Later I'm going home with Autumn and Jessica and we're going to listen to my records and then go and see the Hunger Games again. With a make your own pizza bar after that.

Sounds like a great start to break. Not to mention that I might be going to visit my sister and her kids for a week or two during break!!!
